Herringbone Subway Tile

I think subway tile is recognized as the classic standard, but sometimes it pops up with an unexpected twist. I remember the first time I saw a kitchen with subway tile laid in a herringbone, or chevron, pattern. I was amazed, and then I showed the husband who quickly became terrified when I expressed that I wanted that in our kitchen someday. (Terrified because I'd love to do it myself!)
